Dispersion of powders is related to many factors. In order to disperse well, the interaction force between particles is greater and the affinity between particles and dispersing media is better. The repulsive forces acting between particles are mainly caused by:
1. Powder particles dispersed in liquids have a large number of identical charges on their surfaces, and the particles repel each other because of the same charges.
2. Powders dispersed in the media are mutually exclusive with the approximation of particles due to the adsorption layer formed on the surface of particles. In order to increase the surface charge of particles, human electrolyte is usually added to the dispersion to make the particles adsorb on the surface. Ammonia water is added as electrolyte in the production process of titanium dioxide to make the powder charged with the same kind of charge, which will be of great benefit to the collection of products in the future. The finished product is not easy to agglomerate after crushing, which can better guarantee the fineness of the product. In order to increase the repulsive force between the adsorption layers, the particles adsorb macromolecule substances and interfacial active substances on the surface. After modification, the powders have a good dispersion system, which can ensure the fine coating of microcapsules, and ensure the subsequent drying of powders and the grinding and collection process of powders.
